Die subjektive Wahrnehmung der Helligkeit einer LED-Lampe hängt stark von der Positionierung und Art der Leuchte ab. Die meisten LED-Lampen emittieren das Licht hauptsächlich in eine Richtung. Dies hat zur Folge, dass Lampen mit einem niedrigen Äquivalenzwert laut den EU-Verordnungen als deutlich heller empfunden werden.

However, the given equivalence determination formulas do not necessarily reflect the realistic replacement. The subjective perception of the brightness of an LED lamp depends strongly on the positioning and type of the luminaire. Most LED bulbs emit light mainly in one direction. As a result, low equivalent lamps are perceived as much brighter by EU regulations.
