Die Halteringe sind dort geeignet, wo die sonst nicht festsitzt, wenn die Lampe zugedreht wird. In unserem Fall hatte dann allerdings die Blende (ein Glas) keinen Platz mehr. Das Ergebnis ist von der Leuchtkraft her trotzdem befriedigend.

Bei unserem Dethleffs, Baujahr 1994, konnte der Haltering nicht eingebaut werden, weil der Sockel der alten Hallogenlampen zu lange ist. Baut man den Ring ein, kann die Abdeckung von vorne nicht mehr montiert werden. Die LED-Lampen halten bisher aber auch ohne den Ring.
Bei unserer nachgekauften Ersatzleuchte passte der Ring einwandfrei.
